Who: Harry and You
What: Harry has been displaced across the multiverse AGAIN
Warnings: Tons of disorientation and confusion; Will update if something comes up
So this is it: he is about to return home after helping out in saving Avalon and the world from being frozen in time for nearly two years. And he does miss home so much that once Excalibur has been destroyed and time and the multiverse has been saved, he thought that now is the time to go back and rest up from a long endgame fight with a cursed sword. As much as he wants to stay here, he has a mess of a battle aftermath to clean up, a destroyed school to come to, friends who are missing him badly now, and a community that needs to rebuild itself. The situation his world is in is not that great but he does need to go back and help in the repairs soon.
Or that is what he thought how that day would end because he soon finds himself being transported into a very unfamiliar place. For the second time in his life, Harry has been very much displaced across the multiverse again. He takes a look around to see if he has everything from Avalon with him. Relief settles in when he finds that Hedwig in her cage is there, and much to his own surprise, even Rose too. Wait a minute, he thought that he had tried to say goodbye to her in Avalon so seeing the little pink Pygmy Puff is a big surprise to him. Then he turns to find that his polearm had become very padded and his phone from Avalon didn’t work as at all. So he can’t be able to call King Arthur for help anytime soon.
But the most confusing thing he has stumbled upon to date happens to be the giant and grand scale of the castle before him. He knows that castles can be big in space like with Hogwarts Castle but this one has to take the cake. And it is a lot more beautiful than what Hogwarts is currently at, whoever did the maintance work sure does put a lot of effort to make it super pristine as it can be. But all he can muster to say at this time as he looks more confused by his new situation is “Where in the world I am in now?”

Date: 2024-01-03 09:55 pm (UTC)While he has never seen this lady persoanlly before, he does recall the icy tone of her voice from a network post he stumbled upon in Avalon. And ho boy he is not looking forward to see what this stranger would do onto Mallia’s elf friend.
“Oh no, it’s you!” Harry speaks to the dark haired stranger before he turns to Mallia, “I think we just lost Kyoko right now. It is like someone or something has taken a hold of her while she is still in anger.”

Her friend's image stepped back to where they were, eyes still not leaving Kyoko -- or who had been Kyoko -- even as he raised his staff an inch and dropped it back down to the garden's little clearing. A chair sprang into being as he did, and without so much as acknowledging it directly, he lowered himself into it, eyes narrowing further as he thought. He was keeping up the apparently royal façade he'd donned just before the argument broke out, all the while, not even slouching as he leaned sideways onto his elbow, leaning his staff against his shoulder seemingly without even noticing. He didn't speak up himself yet, though, just watched her head off.
Have fun, guys!

Date: 2024-01-30 02:29 pm (UTC)In fact only Pygmy Puff squeaks and owl hoots are being made here since Harry hasn’t gotten over the changes in his friend just yet.

Date: 2024-03-31 12:15 pm (UTC)"Perhaps it has something to do with this place...?" Mallia said, quietly.
"....Gifted and gullible," Sia said, looking back to her briefly. "That's more likely, I'd think." He brought the wine up to take a drink, but paused, eyeing it, frown deepening. "Oh, what am I even doing? It doesn't work on me anyway." He offered it over to Harry. "This, right here, is the real tragedy. Four thousand years old, and I've been immune to even the very finest wines ever crafted, for all but about the first mere hundred and fifty of those years! Tragic, I tell you!"

Date: 2024-04-03 11:51 pm (UTC)He will accept the drink offer without any questions. It has been a very chaotic day for him and he is still adjusting to life in Auradon. And with what had just happened in front of his eyes, he might as well need a drink at this time.

Date: 2024-04-04 05:48 am (UTC)"I haven't seen her do it previously...." Mallia frowned, sinking back in her chair a bit as she peeked after where Kyoko'd disappeared to again briefly. "Not really. She's managed to play with my magic, when it came to putting on makeup for her, but that's a bit different, isn't it?"
"Is it? ...Is it really?" Sia raised an eyebrow at her... yes, just ignore that he started out looking rather like a slightly scruffy commoner, and is now done up fancily as some sort of member of the pampered elven royalty, right? He looked to Harry. "What were some other instances of this sort of thing, can you recall?"

Date: 2024-04-04 06:17 am (UTC)Honestly he knows much as the whole soul roles phenomenon as much as the next person but that doesn’t mean though that he could sense a quick change in Kyoko’s personality to glean information from as he takes a big sip of the drink Sia offered to him.
“I might need to observe more of the changes if she keeps getting into high levels of emotions and not calming down immediately, and perhaps any other personas she might slip into.”

Date: 2024-04-04 07:11 am (UTC)"I'm certain this won't be the last time, if she commonly ignores what people are telling her, to work herself up about something she's being told repeatedly is entirely false."
"Speaking of what people were telling her, dear...."
"Right. Right." He rolled his eyes, but didn't actually protest. One dismissive hand-gesture later, and his fancy robes were returned to his far more ordinary garb. He reached up, pulling his hair back from his face, and as he gathered it back, it darkened a little back into a more usual shade of blond, shorter again, and now tied without him having tied it. The circlet had completely disappeared; aside from his fancy staff, there wasn't really anything left of the apparently-royal figure he'd been a mere moment ago. He seemed more relaxed this way, leaning back in his chair and settling there with a deep breath.
"I know she's enthusiastic, but if she really refuses to hear what people are telling her... I'm afraid we may see a good deal more of this." Mallia bit her lower lip, unhappy with the notion. "How often did she work herself up into this before?"

Date: 2024-04-04 07:44 am (UTC)Rose squeaks up in her own squeaky way, squeaking about how she and Hedwig fear that they might get scared of those persona switches if Kyoko keeps on letting her emotions to get the best of her. The more dignified Hedwig hoots back in return, agreeing with her Pygmy Puff friend very much.

Date: 2024-04-04 07:54 am (UTC)Her friend groaned. "I hereby officially retire for now, from trying to explain to her that entirely despite what she thinks she knows, I'm not a fairy, I'm an elf. I was never an insect, despite bugging whomever I please. That friend of hers is either going to clear up that I am not his father when and if he shows up, or I'll make him."

Date: 2024-04-04 08:09 am (UTC)Now the task of correcting Kyoko about everything, especially towards Fae/Fairies vs Elves, lands on him. Oh dear, this is going to be the toughest duty he has been given. Sure he can teach a group of disgruntled students practical DADA lessons underground but having to pick up from where Sia left off? Yikes, he is understandably worried and concerned for what is to come but he is going to do his best regardless.
“Right, elves are not the same as fairies, got it, Sir. Hopefully I can get better results from trying to correct her on everything about elves vs fairies. And that I can come out of it in one piece.”

Date: 2024-04-04 09:06 am (UTC)"Well, if you'd like to try... elves and humans are practically kin, the way donkeys and horses are. Fairies are kin to butterflies. Dragons and unicorns and ents, those are fae too. Fae means immortal. It's one whose very soul holds their magic, and sustains what makes them them long after they've died. It's part of why I can't be a fairy, despite the fairy over there currently being an elf."
"You're complicating things...."
"Nonsense. You called me here to help explain, didn't you?" He held out a hand, open, and turned it over for Harry to see. It looked... well, like any hand, when it came to it. Aside from their eyes and ears, Mallia and Sia could both pass quite easily for humans. "What I mean, which your friend was not catching on about, is that I'm well and truly beyond that point."
"Love." Mallia's tone was quite firm, enough to make him blink and look up at her, losing his conspiratorial smile for a moment.
But he didn't argue. A sigh, and he withdrew his hand. "...Fine. My ultimate point is, being a fairy or an elf or one of any of the other fae kinds... it's a matter of what one was originally born as. We all have more in common than most humans would believe, despite our very different original bodies. But it's that very difference that some of our kin take such pride in. No offense, but a butterfly learning to don the guise of a comparative giant...." He made a face while eyeing Mallia, something of an apologetic wince. "It doesn't exactly speak to the sorts of trials and hardships, the deaths one must die, sometimes repeatedly and quite traumatically, to be able to fit oneself into the form of one of the other kinds. However unwitting, a dismissal of the horrors so often inflicted upon us by the humans of our world..." He sank down in his chair again, sighing, "...and such a dismissal by a human, at that... Calling it 'insult upon both grave personal, and systemic, world-ending injury' hardly scrapes the surface. The humans in my world... well, individually, they always were fine enough, but as a whole? Human kind was, at least as of some centuries ago, without exception, the absolute worst thing to invade Europe, bar none.
"So if all of this confusion is somehow innocent, then it's incredibly unfortunate. And if it isn't... If her friend was actually from our world... then with what he's put into her head, and what it's likely to lead to, depending on who she meets... let's just say, I suspect he must not have liked her very much."
Mallia was quiet, rubbing her head. "Humans, mice, wolves, and horses are all land-creatures, but not all land-creatures are cats," she said. "She's insisting that everything on land is a mouse."
"And mice may be all right with that, but a wolf could be quite furious." Sia shook his head. "I don't suppose more examples of different kin would help inspire other ways of presenting this all to her...? There's me, certainly, and there's her... but...?" He looked from Mallia to Harry.
