Wizard has been displaced
Open/locked?: Open
Who: Harry and You
What: Harry has been displaced across the multiverse AGAIN
Warnings: Tons of disorientation and confusion; Will update if something comes up
So this is it: he is about to return home after helping out in saving Avalon and the world from being frozen in time for nearly two years. And he does miss home so much that once Excalibur has been destroyed and time and the multiverse has been saved, he thought that now is the time to go back and rest up from a long endgame fight with a cursed sword. As much as he wants to stay here, he has a mess of a battle aftermath to clean up, a destroyed school to come to, friends who are missing him badly now, and a community that needs to rebuild itself. The situation his world is in is not that great but he does need to go back and help in the repairs soon.
Or that is what he thought how that day would end because he soon finds himself being transported into a very unfamiliar place. For the second time in his life, Harry has been very much displaced across the multiverse again. He takes a look around to see if he has everything from Avalon with him. Relief settles in when he finds that Hedwig in her cage is there, and much to his own surprise, even Rose too. Wait a minute, he thought that he had tried to say goodbye to her in Avalon so seeing the little pink Pygmy Puff is a big surprise to him. Then he turns to find that his polearm had become very padded and his phone from Avalon didn’t work as at all. So he can’t be able to call King Arthur for help anytime soon.
But the most confusing thing he has stumbled upon to date happens to be the giant and grand scale of the castle before him. He knows that castles can be big in space like with Hogwarts Castle but this one has to take the cake. And it is a lot more beautiful than what Hogwarts is currently at, whoever did the maintance work sure does put a lot of effort to make it super pristine as it can be. But all he can muster to say at this time as he looks more confused by his new situation is “Where in the world I am in now?”

Off to the side, Mallia was quietly raising a hand, to cover part of her face. Of course it would be something so mundane as a ridiculous language issue... why hadn't it occurred to her sooner that that might be the case?
"And it sounds like humans with magic are in the minority, where you live?" A look back to Harry again, finally taking a sip of his nonsensical serving of wine. "...But it's a known thing?"

While hearing Kyoko explaining things from the Japanese cultural lenses, the word Cho puts him into a screeching halt as it just so happens to be the name of the first girl he dated, Cho Chang. He couldn’t move his mouth for seconds after all, feeling embarrassed that he was also at fault for hurting her feelings and not being at the right mindset to date anyone during his Fifth Year.

"And I am informing you that that's an inappropriate way to translate it, for our kind," he said. "Where even are those ideas from? Somewhere other than Europe, I'm guessing? Because my kind is from Europe; we've been largely pushed out by humans' ingress, as of somewhere around... what was it, about fifty thousand years ago, something like that?" He gestured vaguely about it, looked back at Mallia as though she'd confirm that for him, and then returned his attention to the two humans there. "And our word for our kind hasn't changed since those days."

Eventually Harry snaps out of his stunned state, shaking his head multiple times in embarrassment, before he tells her (Kyoko) something very important, “Hey Kyoko. Did you know that there is one girl from my world who went by the name Cho and she is not from Japan? That would have been my first ex.”

The fairy shook her head, finally laughing a little again. "Oh, mercy...."
He sighed, turning to look once more to Kyoko. He barely gestured, and his outfit changed, from those softer, earthier hues to near gem colors, whites that shimmered as they sparkled over deep greens and blues. His new robes were nothing if not regal, draping down gracefully over his frame. His hair, previously held back in a low little ponytail, chin-length bangs kept at bay by his ears, now trailed down to his waist, fine braids interrupting the silken length here and there. His face hadn't changed, under the circlet he now wore... but it was stunning, the difference a change in dress and a shift in attitude could make.
Quickly, not giving her a chance to protest any of it: "As one of the oldest members of my entire species and king of all fae, I hereby declare that from now on, your name is Pomme, as you've exhibited all the wit, wisdom, and sense of one. I also henceforth officially disown and disinherit this Corn pretender for the crime of not bringing me in on this obvious joke already. I'd swear he was trying to get you eaten by a dragon, honestly... So if you find him, tell him I'll be waiting on her throne, since she's been the queen for roughly thirty centuries now." He gestured at Mallia, and raised his glass to drink more of it again.
She was losing it at that, laughing. "But I-- You can't just--!"
"I just did," he said, peeking over his glass, his smile teasingly smug. Quieter, to Harry. "Didn't I?"

For a moment she was deathly still and pale. And then DARKNESS flared around her, a dozen or more little grudge spirits flying free of her back to swirl around her. Harry would be able to spot her familiar from Avalon as it was the largest of them, but the rest looked like smaller versions as they swirled around her.
She now had the aura that made everyone think she made such a good villain. Right now she oozed darkness, fury, hatred, all things that made good people flee as she moved to close the small distance between her and the one who had said such horrible things.
She didn't float, but she almost seemed to as her eyes locked onto him.
"You will apologize to Corn," she said, her voice ice. "You will no longer joke about Corn or even mention him," she said, fury roiling off her in waves.
Over her head the grudge spirits were breaking into committees, deciding which ones of them were going to hit him and which ones were going to strangle him.
Hard to say if Kyoko even noticed them, or anyone else for that matter, as her own hands came up like she was about to throttle Mallia's friend. "Fairy or no, you will not insult Corn!"

Um Kyoko, this is not the time to get into fights with Mallia’s friend right now. He might have a point on fairies vs elves he could only scream inside his mind as he watches in horror as soon as grudge spirits soon appear around her. He turns to Mallia’s friend and he could only muster the courage to nod back and say to him, “Sir, I think that we need to do something before she loses it entirely.”
There is a lot of cultural misunderstandings going on and he has a hard time to keep track of the whole discussion. Fairies, elves, Fae, or whatever you want to call them by: he is literally bracing himself for a possible full blown fight and he doesn’t want to find out how it will end.
Rose squeaks in horror as she witnesses Kyoko’s wrath, wishing that things didn’t have to go downhill this fast. Hedwig feels rather horrified as well, scared hoots aplenty as she watches Kyoko being angry at the elf man over how their world’s views on fairies and insulting Corn in the face.

That sobered up Mallia fairly quickly. "All right, that's enough. Kyoko, poppet... Corn has never had an inheritance in a world that isn't his. Perhaps he does where you're from, but he's no prince of ours. And nothing he taught you has any basis in relation to us. Please, you need to understand...."
Her friend rolled his eyes, sighing, but didn't protest further. Fine, spoil his fun!
"Where I come from," she continued, stepping around the table to put herself between Kyoko and her friend's image, "There is nowhere called Avalon. There is also no prince among my kind. I certainly have no children! He has no children!" If he was going to position himself as a king, and her as a queen, she might as well make it plain that her Corn friend didn't fit into-- ...wait. It only struck her after the words were out that she probably didn't want to play into that, on account of giving Kyoko more flawed-at-best ideas about her people's social structures to run wild with. The girl already wasn't listening; how wise was it? Oh well, that could be a problem for later.
"No, no, no...." He put a hand on her shoulder, stepping out again from behind her to stand a bit further away from the table. "I'd love a chance to apologize to his face for anything I've said so far that's actually wrong. You want him to be my heir, then show him to me so that I may adopt him! He can be my very first ward!"
I had to use this icon, I had to
All her defensive anger cam out. She would protect Corn! Corn who did so much for her for so long... Her hands went around his neck with blinding speed. Several of her spirits joined in, a few around his neck, the rest trying to restrain him from pulling away as her hands closed.
Fury filled her, but also... tears. Tears flew from her eyes as her hands closed. "I know that you are cursed... but that is no reason to take it out on your son!" she said, tears falling faster. "I broke his curse and you can find someone to break yours! BUT NOT AT CORN'S EXPENSE! I can't forgive you for how you have treated your son!" Her hands were shaking around his throat.
Kyoko... wasn't fully the one driving anymore. If asked, she would have said the priestess hadn't been around long enough to have rooted. And yet... it was the priestess who lost her powers trying to scream that he could yet be saved, breaking a thin thread through her rage.
The priestess and...
The Angel. She could almost feel the Angel within her. The one that went insane... when she killed the man who was killing her best friend...

He then turns to Mallia and then the elf man, wondering how they can do to stop Kyoko from unknowingly sinking everything downward, but he didn’t say a single word out of his mouth. The shaky nervousness inside him has frozen him in fear.
He could have shaken the lady by the shoulder to snap her out of this madness but he doesn’t have the courage to do so at this stage. So he is practically helpless and unable to do something urgent fast enough.

"What part," he said, speaking loudly, clearly, his smile having slowly disappeared, "Of WE HAVE NO CHILDREN...." He narrowed his eyes, "Do you not understand?"
He didn't take his eyes off of her, letting her keep trying to intimidate him. She could try squeezing his neck all she wanted; it was oddly solid, though it moved under her fingers as though her touch were feather-light, muscle responding as it ought when he spoke and everything.
Mallia, meanwhile, seemed a little exasperated. She gestured, and the table and the mess that was once their feast disappeared in a puff of darkness that dissipated too fast for it to have been solid matter, or even soot on the air, despite its appearance. "You weren't hurt, were you?" She looked between the owl and pink furball and Harry, seemingly similarly unconcerned with what was now going on directly behind her, looking instead to check on them. Did she even understand the scene? Was she unaware of what could happen? Or did she know something she wasn't making clear?

The young man isn’t even sure if he is partially at fault for this messy situation but he is still in shock that he couldn’t move a single muscle to save his own life.

The figure whose neck Kyoko was gripping simply took it, barely reacting any more than he had to the attempted strangulation. There was the physical motion of being jerked around like that, sure, he wasn't being all that immune to mundane physics... but he didn't cry out in pain, didn't wince... he sighed, seemingly more annoyed and disappointed in her than anything as he rolled his eyes. Loudly, slowly, and with as much condescension and melodramatic patience as he could seemingly muster, "I am NO ONE'S father. Congratulations on discovering part of why."

She leaned in close. "Appologize to CORN!" she snarled in his face.

“Kyoko, please. We won’t find Corn in here if you keep harassing the elf gentleman like that, I’m begging you,” Harry meekly begs her as he quietly takes a seat at the chair Mallia is pointing him to.
Hedwig hoots in concern as she follows him and Rose to the seat, hanging onto it for dear life as they all anticipate another emotional outburst from the pink jumpsuit wearing lady.

He barely paused a beat, and then huffed a sigh, rolling his eyes as he changed his mind. "Never mind, I don't care. Go ahead, work it out. Do what you wish." He shrugged, attempting to lift his arms a bit as he did, despite how she was keeping him restrained. "Let me know when you're finished."
And with that, something changed, his image softening slightly in her hands. Perhaps even giving a bit too much...? If she wanted to try hurting him, she'd certainly seemingly be able to, though his bones wouldn't cooperate in being destroyed or damaged. Everything else, however, was suddenly fair game, and he wasn't planning to resist her efforts any, even if it meant even rather great physical harm would come to him.
It was quite a flip, and a sudden one, at that. But it was one that didn't seem to even surprise the fairy as she made something of an exasperated sound and dropped into a chair beside Harry. "We may as well enjoy the show," she told him quietly, though her expression said she wouldn't, so much as that she was already waiting for it to be over and done with, with an apparent utter lack of concern for her friend's wellbeing and safety.

When Mallia conjures up another seat for her to sit on and tells him something about enjoying this being played out, the only response she gets from him is a shy meekful nod. He just hopes that Kyoko can eventually calm down and let bygones be bygones by the end of this.

Mallia leaned a little toward Harry, quiet. "Does she often become so violent when upset?"
