Sephiroth Arrives - Backdated to August 29th

Arrival

There is a flash of light and a man with three blue wings suddenly appears on the campus lawn. Normally he prepares his arrivals to be rather flashy and dramatic, but he ... really hadn’t planned on this arrival at all. He had been minding his own business at the Dark Depths when all of a sudden he was here. And where was here, exactly?

He starts walking, looking for someone to help him understand what on earth just happened.

Main Lobby

Looking over the welcome pamphlet leaves him very confused. Those seen as villains go to something called the Isle of the Lost and those seen as heroes are sent here?

“You there.” Yes, he means you. Whoever you are. “Is this magic that sends people to these places always accurate on where it places them?”

How could it possibly have sent him here? He’s not a hero. Not anymore.

Dorm

He eyes the room warily. The blue he’s fine with. The plaid ... not so much. But of course he can’t be picky, and he won’t be.

He goes in with a sigh, examines the room, and lays down on one of the beds, all three wings hanging off of the mattresses’ edges. That will certainly be an unusual sight for anyone passing by the open doorway.

Will he have the room to himself, he wonders, or does someone else have the other bed in the room?

"He may not want to see me after what happened when I saw him last," Sephiroth said.

[rexien]

He thought of seeing Axel again after their last fight. He hadn't been sure if Axel would still be his best friend, or if they were still fighting. Despite the uncertainty though... He'd still wanted to talk to him again. "What if he does though? If you're friends, you should still try, right?"

"Yes," Sephiroth said. "I would try, if he appeared. It's just that I would rather tell him myself that I'm here instead of him finding out from someone else."

[rexien]

"I see... Okay. I promise I won't say anything if I see him then."

[3wingedangel]

"Thank you," Sephiroth said with a nod. He hoped Zack would come, eventually, and that he would be pulled from after the last timepoint Sephiroth knew. Then he would know Zack was alive, even if Zack wanted nothing to do with him.

He stepped away from the desk. "I believe I'm going to explore the area. Do you have any particular recommendations of things I should see?"

He nodded. "Did you find the cafeteria yet?" Eating regularly was important for Somebodies, he knew that now, so Sephiroth would need to know where to eat, right?

"I haven't yet," Sephiroth said. "Would you be willing to show me?"

[rexien]

"Sure, it's not far from here. This way." He turned and started off, assuming Sephiroth would follow.

Sephiroth did indeed follow, memorizing the pathway as they walked. He wanted to be able to easily find his way there on his own for future trips.

[rexien]

Roxas would easily walk in silence if Sephiroth didn't break it. The trip was relatively short. A few wide hallways full of cheesy decor, until they came to a large set of double doors.

Sephiroth was not a terribly talkative person, although he showed some visual amusement at the cheesy decor.

"Of all the places I thought I might end up, I never imagined living where sentiments like this appear," he remarked, pointing at a cheesy motivational poster near the cafeteria.

[rexien]

Roxas glanced at the poster. The words definitely were strange on a lot of the signs. A lot about being good and kind and rainbows and kittens. He didn't really understand the purpose of them, but there was a lot more here he didn't understand than there had been on the Isle. "Are they bad?"

“No, not at all,” Sephiroth said. Hm, how to explain…. “It’s just … very idealistic. It’s more what I might expect for teaching small children instead of teenagers and adults.”

[rexien]

"Oh." He nodded, satisfied with that answer. Before pushing at the big doors, leading the way into the large hall. It was full of tables of snacks, most of which Roxas didn't know the names of, and probably a few folks scattered about.

"Mallia makes most of the food, but you can have whatever you want. There's usually at least something in here."

Relieved that explanation had worked, Sephiroth followed him in. “Thank you.” He found something he liked and took it from the table. “How many people are here altogether?”

[rexien]

"I dunno. Lots?" More than at the Organization at least.

[3wingedangel]

“And there are enough food and accommodations for everyone?” He didn’t want to be a burden. Not that he had much choice in what he did or where he went right now.

[rexien]

"Well, Mallia makes the food with magic, and there are still empty bedrooms. So, I think so." He shrugged. He didn't really know much about all that.

[3wingedangel]

"That's good to know," Sephiroth said. "Have people randomly been showing up here for a while?"

[rexien]

He nodded. "I think so, yeah."

[3wingedangel]

"And no one here has any idea how to fix the problem?" Sephiroth asked.

[rexien]

"Well, I know everyone's working on it, but not yet. The magic that caused everything is pretty strong."

[3wingedangel]

“It would have to be,” Sephiroth remarked. “Thank you for all your help. Is there anything else you feel I should know?”

[rexien]

"I'm not sure what else you might need to know. If you have any other questions about the magic and stuff though I'd say ask Queen Mal."

[3wingedangel]

“Thank you,” Sephiroth says. “I will do that.”
