Aqua was concerned when Æn'kae did not show up for morning lessons. She ran her class of course, planning to look for him after. Sadly, she couldn't find him. She waited until later in the day to check with Rren, and found them gone as well.

She'd seen this before, friends vanishing from a hub world, with no warning. So this was not a first. But still, it was a sad thing, and she would miss them.

Aqua was the Master of her emotions, not the other way around, but she was Master by way of actually feeling her feelings. So she could be found in the afternoon, once again up on the roof of the school, legs crossed, eyes closed as she meditated through her feelings. But she was willing to speak to anyone even while meditating, or while searching. And of course she always had time for her students in morning class.

She nodded. "Keep doing the forms and try not to flinch as I attack, get the feeling of blocking through the form."

[phoenixwiz]

“Got it, Master Aqua. I’ll try to keep up with blocking as much as I can,” he nods as he continues to do the forms, anticipating any moves Aqua will present for him to block.

[aquawayfinder]

She nodded. "Just feel the flow," she said as she drove the side of her arm at his head, timing it so that if he didn't flinch, the form would block her automatically.

He is able to sense the movement her arm is heading for his head, and true to what she said, he is able to go with the flow and immediately block it. It is full instinct at play.

"Very good. I'm not going to announce the next few. Just keep going through the pattern, alright?"

[phoenixwiz]

“Okay, got it. I understand the lesson very clear. I’ll do my best to keep up with the pattern as fast as I can manage.”

She nodded and settled into a ready pose. After he'd done two rounds she started her assault, gentle but unrelenting.

In turn he carefully blocks several of her moves with the position patterns that he has learned up until this part. They are in turn gentle but swift, and so far Harry is starting to get the hang of these moves relatively well.

"Alright. Doing well so far. Go take a jog, two laps around the school. Then give yourself fifteen minutes rest. Two more laps after that then come back here, alright?"

[phoenixwiz]

He didn’t waste anything to get started on jogging laps around the school grounds. So Harry goes in to jog around the school, two times, as instructed. When he does that first set, he rests up for 15 minutes before continuing to doing the last two sets.

After doing the last two laps, he is able to return back to Aqua, feeling a lot better with what he has accomplished so far.

"Alright, how do you feel?"

[phoenixwiz]

“Well. I actually feel a lot better now, it is quite refreshing to take time off to mediate and calm down not rushing things often.”

[aquawayfinder]

She nodded. "It is healthier for you, and your body knows that. Though you will feel sore later. I recommend a hot soak before bed. For now, let's move to lighter exercise while we move to a more mental focus, alright?"

[phoenixwiz]

“Yes, I agree with you on that. It is a good idea to take a step back from the physical stuff once in a while to prevent pushing myself too far and to look after myself too,” Harry agrees with her.

[aquawayfinder]

She nodded and guided him through a much easier and slower set. "Follow my moves while we talk," she said. "And let's start with... ah. Tell me about the worst person you know, but try to do it while sounding and looking like you are discussing something pleasant."

[phoenixwiz]

“Wait, um, talking about the worst person I have gotten to know while sounding like I’m talking something very pleasant?” Harry is in a loss for words.

For most of his life, he had very little nice things on the people he is never in good terms with. So trying to make the conservation on them as less awful as he could is going to be difficult. But he is going to attempt his best and see where he can fix it as he follows after Aqua’s moves.

“I have this very difficult time trying to not sound so terrible when it comes to talking about people I don’t get along but I do know of one man who stands out from the rest. And he tried to, well, get rid of me for most of my life. Got any tips for me to take when discussing about him?”

[aquawayfinder]

She nodded. "Of course. Though I will only give you some, as part of point of the exercise is to help you learn to find these ways for yourself. But I can share with you some of the ways I approach this task myself."

She kept moving through the easier form as they spoke.

"One thing I remind myself is that out of even the worst things, good things came. If we hadn't been betrayed and seperated, for example... we would not have made so many friends. We learned a lot. About ourselves, each other, other worlds. We would have gotten there eventually... I hope. But we also learned where we stood on our path the Mastery. And I learned to not underestimate Ven, to see how much he had grown up. So that is one method. To think of the good that came from the bad as you speak. Not to credit the good to the person who caused the bad, but for the sake of your own heart."

A small quiet smile.

"Another way to help yourself is what we are doing. Physical motion. channeling the emotion into your motion. There is a reason the words are so similar in so many languages. Let the burn of the emotion be felt in the burn of your muscles. At later leaves you'll be able to do this all while seeming still and relaxed. But we shall take this a bit at a time."

"So," she said, still moving fluidly, "Are you ready to try?"
