She wasn't trying to sneak up on her or anything, honest... she just didn't want to interrupt as she listened, smile growing, intent on the sound of it. By the time Morgana was done, she wasn't too very far away -- close enough to chat, far enough away for an easy line of sight angle, if Morgana were to glance down to see her.
