Wizard has been displaced

What: Harry has been displaced across the multiverse AGAIN

So this is it: he is about to return home after helping out in saving Avalon and the world from being frozen in time for nearly two years. And he does miss home so much that once Excalibur has been destroyed and time and the multiverse has been saved, he thought that now is the time to go back and rest up from a long endgame fight with a cursed sword. As much as he wants to stay here, he has a mess of a battle aftermath to clean up, a destroyed school to come to, friends who are missing him badly now, and a community that needs to rebuild itself. The situation his world is in is not that great but he does need to go back and help in the repairs soon.

Or that is what he thought how that day would end because he soon finds himself being transported into a very unfamiliar place. For the second time in his life, Harry has been very much displaced across the multiverse again. He takes a look around to see if he has everything from Avalon with him. Relief settles in when he finds that Hedwig in her cage is there, and much to his own surprise, even Rose too. Wait a minute, he thought that he had tried to say goodbye to her in Avalon so seeing the little pink Pygmy Puff is a big surprise to him. Then he turns to find that his polearm had become very padded and his phone from Avalon didn’t work as at all. So he can’t be able to call King Arthur for help anytime soon.

But the most confusing thing he has stumbled upon to date happens to be the giant and grand scale of the castle before him. He knows that castles can be big in space like with Hogwarts Castle but this one has to take the cake. And it is a lot more beautiful than what Hogwarts is currently at, whoever did the maintance work sure does put a lot of effort to make it super pristine as it can be. But all he can muster to say at this time as he looks more confused by his new situation is “Where in the world I am in now?”

The puns might annoyed some folks but Harry has heard something similar from Donovan back in Avalon. So it wasn’t out of place for him.

“Yeah, you can say that really well. It did in a way put me in a spell,” he admits to him.

Greg would love to know his puns made Harry think of Donovan.

"I tind to be eloquent at times," he grinned. "Glad you understand magic so I didn't have to spell it out for you. If someone else offered to explain, though I'd lett'er."

“Oh yeah, I’m not a strange with all matters of magic myself. In fact back at home, I was a wizard myself but I have gotten to learn more in Avalon as well, especially if it involves kinetic and elemental magic,” Harry happily admits to Greg.

"Elemental magic? You'd fit in well at mom's school," he said with a chuckle. "I'd point out my magic, but then my brother winds up on some long spiel on if it counts as elemental or not until I leave. He's a master at the element of boredom."

“Oh gee thanks. I didn’t know that I can blend well into other schools of magic until now but I am really glad to hear regardless. Huh, he tends to be this talkative and boring at the same time?”

"I used to tell him that sleep was his strongest spell... he was... less than amused," he said with a grin.

“Well maybe he could’ve just lighten up and not be all high-strung all the time,” Harry couldn’t help laughing at the idea of Greg’s brother being good with making people fall asleep, “Is he always this boring?”

"Oh he is plenty bright. He will just string you along forever with theory."

“Sounds like he and one of my best friends would get along very well. She is also very bright but she can be a bit too much at times like acting like a know it all sometimes. Sorry but that’s what happens when your friend happens to be one of the brightest students in school.”

"Sounds like she would fit right in then."

[phoenixwiz]

“Yeah exactly. She’ll definitely fit right into your mum’s school very well, getting many good grades and impressing so many people with her brilliant mind,” Harry could already imagine Hermione wowing the teachers in Greg’s mom’s school in his head.

"You'll have to bring her by when we figure out how to get home."

“Yeah, she is probably going to like it a lot once we find a way to return home and possibly visit other worlds freely. As long as she is okay with visiting other worlds of course.”

"Dominic can talk to her if she's nervous about it. Or Mom."

[phoenixwiz]

“Oh right. A little convincing should help her out. Maybe they can get Hermione to realize that going between worlds is not as bad as one thinks. I think that the same can apply to Ron as well. Speaking of which, I really do miss my friends right now. I’m just worried that they will be wondering where am I in the multiverse.”

"I've not traveled the planes really, but my brother and mother have."

[phoenixwiz]

“Oh, so they have more experiences in exploring other worlds and planes before? I might want to ask them more about their travels. Oh wait, I almost forget. My name is Harry by the way and the animals following me are Rose the Pygmy Puff and Hedwig the owl.”

Hedwig lets out a dignified hoot ad Rose squeaks to Greg happily.

"They'd love to talk to you," he said. "I'm Greg. Gregory Deegan. Gotta ask, you happen to be a Spellwolf?"

So he actually got to meet someone very close to Donovan? That is pretty neat although he didn’t mention him directly right now.

“Oh, I never heard of the term of Spellwolf before. Can I ask what is it about? Is it similar to be a witch or wizard?”

[gregorydeegan]

"As my brother puts it, a werewolf who moonlights as a seer." He grinned. A Werwolf with magic basically. With a name like Hairy..." he grinned.

“Oh no, I’m not actually a werewolf myself. Just a normal wizard, that’s all. But I do know one from home and he was a very good family friend and teacher. Maybe if he does show up, I could introduce him to you. Not see if he sees things into the future though.”

"Fur sure, I'd love to make new friends!"

“Oh yeah, I agree as well, Greg. I’ll bet that he will appreciate having more friends around too. It’ll be swell.”
