"What would you have guessed I am, had you met me without foreknowledge or introduction, pray tell?" She lifted her hands up a bit and apart, in what wasn't quite a gesture of exasperation or surrender, or perhaps simply holding her sleeves aside so he could see her properly... a mix of all of the above, maybe?
