Wizard has been displaced

What: Harry has been displaced across the multiverse AGAIN

So this is it: he is about to return home after helping out in saving Avalon and the world from being frozen in time for nearly two years. And he does miss home so much that once Excalibur has been destroyed and time and the multiverse has been saved, he thought that now is the time to go back and rest up from a long endgame fight with a cursed sword. As much as he wants to stay here, he has a mess of a battle aftermath to clean up, a destroyed school to come to, friends who are missing him badly now, and a community that needs to rebuild itself. The situation his world is in is not that great but he does need to go back and help in the repairs soon.

Or that is what he thought how that day would end because he soon finds himself being transported into a very unfamiliar place. For the second time in his life, Harry has been very much displaced across the multiverse again. He takes a look around to see if he has everything from Avalon with him. Relief settles in when he finds that Hedwig in her cage is there, and much to his own surprise, even Rose too. Wait a minute, he thought that he had tried to say goodbye to her in Avalon so seeing the little pink Pygmy Puff is a big surprise to him. Then he turns to find that his polearm had become very padded and his phone from Avalon didn’t work as at all. So he can’t be able to call King Arthur for help anytime soon.

But the most confusing thing he has stumbled upon to date happens to be the giant and grand scale of the castle before him. He knows that castles can be big in space like with Hogwarts Castle but this one has to take the cake. And it is a lot more beautiful than what Hogwarts is currently at, whoever did the maintance work sure does put a lot of effort to make it super pristine as it can be. But all he can muster to say at this time as he looks more confused by his new situation is “Where in the world I am in now?”

"As my brother puts it, a werewolf who moonlights as a seer." He grinned. A Werwolf with magic basically. With a name like Hairy..." he grinned.

"Wonderful," she said, walking again. "We will see you at dawn, then!" She reached the welcome stand and grabbed a pamphlet and offered it to him. "The welcome pamphlet."

Hedwig doesn’t seem to pay attention to Kyoko’s over eagerness as she digs into the bowl of green crustaceans while Harry couldn’t hide any attempts of giggling while biting onto the cookies. He can see why Kyoko is always in awe of fairy magic everyday: there is never a boring day when magic is being made.

Rose squeaks as her owner accepts the pamphlet from Aqua. He is taking some time to read it and he is getting to learn more about the current situation and about Auradon.

“Oh gee, thanks. This is going to help me out a lot in Auradon.”

“Oh no, I’m not actually a werewolf myself. Just a normal wizard, that’s all. But I do know one from home and he was a very good family friend and teacher. Maybe if he does show up, I could introduce him to you. Not see if he sees things into the future though.”

"It's a common plant-pest," she corrected her, "albeit rather larger than I've ever encountered them in nature. And I'm still uncertain how you knew I'd been born an insect myself from first sight of me." She suspected she hadn't, based on how she was using the word and all, but perhaps Kyoko would surprise her and take a hint about its actual meaning. Or maybe this friend of hers would?

She turned to him, mostly succeeding in keeping a straight face despite her amusement, her smile mostly only hinting in her eyes. "What would you have guessed I am, had you met me without foreknowledge or introduction, pray tell?" She lifted her hands up a bit and apart, in what wasn't quite a gesture of exasperation or surrender, or perhaps simply holding her sleeves aside so he could see her properly... a mix of all of the above, maybe?

"I never thought you were an insect! I always knew you were a fairy though! You'r so pretty, and your proportions are inhuman," she said as if that was a great compliment. Of course, this being Kyoko she didn't mean the proportions someone else might have meant... "The distance between your eyes, the length of forearm compared to upper arm, the muscles that connect everything," she babbled happily. Look, she identified Ren based on his proportions from her internal Tsuruga scale that came from making so many dolls of him. She saw people so weirdly. "No one human could be formed like that! The only one who comes close that I ever met is part fairy, though he doesn’t know it yet! I wanna be there when he finds out!" she said, bouncing. "Besides, you glow and shine like magic. Of course you're a fairy!"

"You should thank Lea. He comes to lessons so if you have not met him by then you can thank him in the morning."

And no matter what Rren might say, dawn was morning, not the middle of the night.

"Fur sure, I'd love to make new friends!"

“Oh gee, if I had to make some good guesses. I thought that you might be a beautiful human like fairy or nature spirit,” Harry admits to Mallia as he tries not to get distracted by Kyoko’s excitement, “Apparently in where I'm from, most depictions of fairies and nature spirits aren’t too different from humans and wizards alike.”

“Ah okay then. I might as well thank him as soon as we get to cross paths, considering that we might share the same classes soon. He must be very knowledgeable in this sort of stuff to compile everything into one handy pamphlet.”

“Oh yeah, I agree as well, Greg. I’ll bet that he will appreciate having more friends around too. It’ll be swell.”

She couldn't help herself; she had to laugh at all this. She even brought a hand up to her face to hide it some, and after a good moment moved it, seeming to be wiping away hints of tears, taking a breath. "Elf. The word you're looking for is elf," she said, looking between the two of them. "Those are your kind's relatives. Fairies are butterflies."

"I've never met an Elf... But I met Corn, and I met you! Faeries!"

"More than he gives himself credit for," she agreed with a warm smile.

"That's big of you."

“Yeah exactly. Is it okay if I can look around the campus? I just got here so maybe you can show me plenty of the places in here.”

“That’s very much true, Master Aqua. Reminds me a lot of some friends who, despite everything, can achieve many amazing things back home. Hopefully we can get to see each other often in class and get to talk as much as we can.”

“Say Kyoko. Have you found Corn in here so far? I’m not sure if I was able to spot him in campus today?” Harry asks her before he turns his attention to Mallia.

“Oh right! Elves: That’s definitely what I have been thinking of, I can’t seem to get their name out of the top of my mind immediately but thank you for pointing it out to me, Mallia. Elves are quite a fascinating kind; for the longest time I initially thought that they only exist in fiction but I’m starting to think that elves could be more real than I can imagine.”

"I haven't been here much longer, so not sure I have the grounds. to stand on. But sure." he smiled.

She nodded. "That is something to look forward to in the morning then. For now, feel free to read up, and I will do my best too answer any questions you still have after that.'

“Oh okay then. In any way, maybe we should get started in checking the place now.”

Rose and Hedwig squeak and hoot respectively in agreement to the idea as they too would like to see it themselves as well.

“Oh sure thing, I should get started on the reading right away,” Harry nods in return as he starts to check out the information in the pamphlet and see what he could learn from it.

Hedwig hoots ever majestically, her wings flapping to stretch them and her feather gleaming bright. Rose happily squeaks as she tries to get close to the pamphlet and read it with him.

Mallia shook her head. "I was raised by them. That's why I took after them, to blend in better, when I came up with my larger form here. I look nothing like a--" She paused midsentence, seemingly only just now registering that here she was trying to explain, when she could instead simply....

...She waved her hand, gesturing to the top of the fruit bowl she'd set out, and tried to keep a half-straight face as she watched their reactions. "That," she said, "is what fairies look like. Not this." A vague gesture toward herself again. See? Big difference here, you two!

And now that she'd drawn their attention to the fruit bowl, they'd be able to make out the shapes that were playing around among the bits of produce: she really hadn't been kidding, in saying that they were butterflies. They varied greatly in color and pattern, and even in wing shape, but they were indeed otherwise much like the common, fluttery insects. Ones that seemed to push themselves more or less upright on their four hind legs, the fur on their thighs and abdomens blending together to make several of them look quite a lot like they were wearing little dresses of sorts, while they used their front arms as... well, as arms, reaching forward to grab a small berry and roll it around, or preen themselves off. They looked vaguely a bit more humanoid than a normal butterfly would tend to; perhaps it was their heads' shape, their fur sticking up in back like a tiny updo, with tiny faces that had large eyes and mouths that they'd open, to suck on their fingers as they preened themselves or chewed on fruit....

Didn't real butterflies have more of a curly straw for a mouth, not a biting-type one? Because these were definitely built for biting, as one of them was already proving with a little red ball from a raspberry. Maybe they weren't truly butterflies, at least of the usual kinds?
