"Oh... I can explain it... Well... Nadeshiko is better at it but hers is still asleep..." he said, trailing off and sounding a bit pained. Then he winced. "She's going to kill me..." But then a grin as he brightened. "Or just die of envy!" he added, happier now.
"Okay, okay, you going to try anyhow or what, kid?" Rhythm asked.
"Right, right." Nagihiko looked around for a place to sit then looked sheepish and just sat in the grass again. "Alright so... all kids are born with an egg in their soul. The egg of your hearts. As yet, unseen. But sometimes... when the dream is strong enough... the egg comes out, and eventually... hatches. They are part of our hearts, and they help us be who we want to be. Generally one heart one egg, though some people like Amu-chan have more. She... has four."
"That's a hard one to compete with," Rhythm said, thoughtfully. "But we'll find other ways to beat her at stuff."

Nagihiko turned to look Rhythm, alarmed.
