The change was swift; it was hard to see just how it happened, but suddenly her darkness reached the ground. She stood back upright, and those same wings, now huge, lifted up behind her.
"I can do that at on a whim."
Admittedly, not being shy about casual magic use around the kids was not the same as revealing herself to be such a shapeshifter, but....
