He hesitated, then nodded. "Not since I was really little, but... yeah. Mom... she's as driven as dad is, in some ways. About dance. About teaching us, though she mostly teaches my sister. She... she can be kind. But she also doesn’t like it when I sneak out to just... be myself... by myself... but she has her reasons," he said feeling compelled to defend her.
