"But the thing is, even if you haven't been tearing yourself apart, you're putting your life, your well-being on hold. You can't let yourself settle down based on a what if, and every attachment you form you do knowing you'll have to leave them. And... from what I can tell you won't let yourself grieve, because it feels like you are giving up on your friends, your family."
