His pulse thundered under every inch of his skin, and his feathers hurt with how hard he was resisting the urge to let them flare. But at least the monotone edge had been shaken out of his voice.
Where he'd been flighty and skittish before, now his focus was zeroed in on Lea. He didn't like being within arms length of anyone when he was this on edge, but between that or Lea possibly reading something that would betray Prompto he chose the former over the later.
