Leia still looked a bit dubious. After all, this would hardly be the first time an adult tried to get a kid to believe something outlandish about their capabilities. As she considered how to respond, though another vision shimmered into view.
Seen from the outside, the vision shows Leia, a few years older than she is now, talking to a man that would be instantly recognizable to Ian. It's difficult to tell where they are, just that it's dark, with a lot of machinery around.
"Look," Leia in the vision said, "since I met you I've been chased, shot at, I almost fell to my death, and now there are Inquisiting people after us. If somebody is offering us help, I think we should take it. Now come on." When Obi-Wan didn't immediately follow her as she started to walk off, she turned back and asked, with a note of exasperation, "What now?"
"Nothing, you just remind me of someone," Obi-Wan said. "She was fearless too. And stubborn."
"I'm not stubborn," Leia in the vision protested.
"Yes you are."
"I'm not!"
The vision faded there, leaving it unclear if the argument continued. But after looking at the spot where her vision self had been for a long moment, Leia turned back to Ian and nodded. "I don't know what a... dis-ter-tion is, but OK," she said. "What do I need to do?"
