Everybody see my sunny

At first it would probably be hard to tell that anything was different about this seemingly random day right at the end of the month. The day started out normally enough. A beautiful Auradon morning. The sun rose, a gentle breeze cooled the day enough that it was on the slightly chilled side of pleasant. It was getting cooler overall, but even so this was a beautiful morning.

The weirdness started when the sun was at its highest point in the sky. It might have been hard to tell, but the sun seemed to stop moving at that time. This might cause issues for the more scientifically minded characters who know that it is not the sun that actually moves, and yet...

As the day went on... or rather as time went on and left the sky behind... eventually it would be noticeable. The sun wasn't setting. At all. The weather wasn't shifting.

In fact there was a full extra day of beautiful sunlit weather. For 24 hours the day would remain bright with the sun directly overhead, and a beautiful cool breeze. Then after 24 hours, the day would progress as usual towards a lovely evening and then at last, finally night.

Morgana wasn't really a sunny person - n-not that she was a vampire or anything, no sir - and much preferred darkness and shadows when it came to day-to-day living. As a result, she was one of the people who noticed the obnoxious sun had stopped moving at a certain point.

She had then decided "Nope, Morgana out." and retreated to her coffin. This was too bright for her, and it dared to intrude on her precious night! How was she supposed to practice her tunes like this?

So for that day, Morgana wouldn't be found, unless one dared to peek in her room and wonder what that coffin's all about...

... However, her familiars - Eek and Squeak the bats, along with Archie the spider - can still be found here and there along the kingdom. Though the bats are nocturnal, they do want to keep an eye on things in case they need to report something to their mistress. Archie's just a grump. Feel free to say hi, the bats will be friendly - the spider will not.
