I'm used to a world filled mostly with humans, and ones that were, at times, overall quite hostile to those that didn't look entirely like them. Including those similar to how I appear now." And given that she looked mostly like a human herself, with the biggest obvious differences being her eyes, the irises a bit larger and a great deal more vibrantly purple than any human's, and her ears subtly more pointed... his own features definitely hadn't escaped her notice.
