He may not have the skills necessary to sew anything to save his life back in his world, but Harry certainly doesn’t want to spend most of this cold winter sitting idly in his dorm for long periods of time. Hogwarts doesn’t have spells that conjure clothes on a whim and, no, Transfiguration spells technically don’t count as a conjuring of clothes spell. Plus he does want to have something for Rose and Hedwig to wear for the winter, even Pygmy Puffs and owls need some protection against the cold too.

Maybe there is some people who can try to help him how to sew clothing even if it involves simple rip fixes and a quick patch work. As he enters the place where the sewing circle is at, he looks rather nervous what he can do with very little skill, Hedwig and Rose are there for support and possibly some scarves and hats too.
